Hi I’m Daedalus

About Daedalus

Daedalus was saved at the last second from being shot when he was chasing a farmer’s sheep. An animal lover rescued him and took him to the shelter.

Daedalus is a happy, charming, fun-loving, slightly clumsy young dog who really likes people.

Although he has a high prey drive the cats at the shelter scare the life out of him. He doesn’t dare approach the volunteers if there are cats are near them!

However, he is very “interested” in the chickens that move outside the shelter, so he definitely has a great interest in hunting.

He gets along very well with other dogs so another dog in a future home would be great but not absolutely necessary.

His friendly manner also makes us believe that he can live with children who are respectful of animals.

He will thrive best in an active home. A fenced garden to run around in would be fantastic for this fun-loving gentleman!

Daedalus is about 2 years old, weighs 20,9 kilos, is blood tested, neutered, fully vaccinated and ready to leave the shelter.

We are so glad this sweet boy didn’t get shot!
