Adorable D’Artagnan was dumped outside the shelter recently with his fantastic brother Dante, and we’re really in love with these good tempered boys!
Just like his brother, D’Artagnan is estimated three years old and weighs circa 13 kilos, so is a lovely manageable size. But his character is a little different – he plays the part of the more needy, attention-seeking little brother, and needs lots of cuddles. He is very good with other dogs, and so far a little insecure around the shelter cats, but no aggression or anything like that. Just a little more cautious in character than his brother, but also a very friendly and sweet boy.
As with almost all our dogs, we’ve no idea what happened in D’Artagnan’s life before arriving at the shelter. This means his future family need to expect to start with all training from the beginning as one would with a little puppy – toilet training, walking on a lead, alone home training – he’ll need it all! But we are sure that he’s a very sweet boy, so a little patience and he’ll be a wonderful family member!
