Sweet Hamilton is estimated to be three year old and weighs 20 kilos. Hamilton ended up at the shelter with this ‘brother’, as their owner is in prison and will not be released within their lifetimes.

Hamilton is an absolute gentleman, and all the volunteers are in love with him. His owner used him as a hunting dog, so we suspect his hunting instinct will be very high – even though he is kind to the shelter cats. He has lots of energy, so would love to live with a family as active as he is. He’d probably enjoy hunting trips, if his owner likes that, or at least would enjoy countryside walks. He has no problem with other dogs and could live with kids that have been brought up to respect and understand animals. He’s a very quiet and sincere dog that will make the right family very happy.

Although Hamilton is an adult dog and has an owner, we don’t know if he ever lived inside the home. So his future family need to start everything as if he was a pup in terms of toilet training and other basic commands.
