Beautiful little senior lady, Iris, was recently dumped outside the shelter. At 10 years old and with breast cancer, we couldn’t imagine what kind of monster could do such a thing to this sweet little old lady.

We sent Iris immediately to a specialist surgeon in Athens, and after a complete mastectomy, our girl is cancer-free. By the way, she also completely stole the heart of the vet – it’s impossible not to fall in love with this little one!

Although she has recovered fantastically, the vet discovered she has a heart murmur, so she will need to take one pill a day for the rest of her life. But he assured us that there are lots of golden years left in her!

Iris would love to live with an older person or couple, in a calm countryside home with a secure garden. She is estimated to be 10 years old and weighs 8.5 kilos. Everyone who meets her falls completely in love with her sweet and affectionate character so we really hope that we find her dream family so she can enjoy her golden years like a queen.
