Hi I’m Lucinda (Lucy)

About Lucinda (Lucy)

Lucinda is the most kind and wonderful girl. She has been through so much in her short life and is now being fostered in the UK and is ready for adoption.

Lucinda would make a great companion for a senior couple. A calm dog in the home would help her enormously but she could also be an only dog. She just needs time and space to blossom.

Lucinda was one of the dogs found chained 24/7 on a hell hole farm. She was taken to Lemnos Shelter in April and was very shut down but the volunteers brought her out of her shell and we offered her a foster home in the UK.

She arrived very shy but was still always ready to wag her tail. She has made enormous progress and shows her foster mum great affection but is still reserved with strangers and prefers the safety of her den.

Lucinda’s Foster Mum says:

“With time and patience Lucinda is going to be the most perfect companion. She loves nothing more than to cuddle up beside you and shower you with kisses.
Lucinda is still very reserved around visitors but there is a definite demon waiting to break out.

When friends see such a shy dog I don’t think they can believe that when we’re alone she shows me her crazy side and it’s hard to believe she’s the same dog.

For the right person or couple Lucinda has so much potential as the perfect lap dog but just needs time and space to make this happen.”

I was one of the dogs from the hell-hole farm. I spent all my years chained up. I dream of a calm home where I can live out the rest of my life in peace. When you first meet me I will be very shy but underneath all this I’m ready to become a real dog and have lots of fun with you.
