This sweet lady hasn’t had an easy life. But she’s still so full of joy for life!

She arrived at the shelter in a terrible condition. Her fur was totally tangled and she had big tumours that had to be removed. This wonderful elderly lady is a true fighter and has now recovered totally. She’s blind in her left eye, but that’s no issue for her!

Raquel is an amazing girl who thrives with each and every dog at the shelter and also gets along well with the shelter’s cats.

As for people, she adores them and welcomes everyone with joy and doesn’t want you to stop petting and cuddling her.

She was in foster care while recovering from the mastectomies, but still her future family will need to be patient and help her learn about life in a home.

Raquel is so kind and peaceful and can absolutely live in a home with kids who are raised to respect animals. Or maybe she’s the perfect dog for a retired person or couple?

With her calm character we believe she can live in the city as well as on the countryside.
