About Rose

Little Mama Rose appeared outside the shelter recently with her three daughters. The three pups are about six months old now, so long passed the age where they are still reliant on their mom, so we hope we can find a fantastic family for little Rose.

Our vet estimates Rose to be circa 5 years old and she weighs 13.6 kilos. She is a cautious little girl, but very friendly at the same time. As she gets more comfortable and confident around us, she is starting to show us her goofy and sweet character – and we love that! Rose has no issues with the other dogs at the shelter – and so far, she’s a little uncertain around the shelter cats.

As with almost all our dogs, we’ve no idea what happened in Rose’s life before arriving at the shelter. This means her future family need to expect to start with all training from the beginning as one would with a little puppy – toilet training, walking on a lead, alone home training – she will need it all! We suspect she’s had a hard life so far, but thankfully, she still likes contact with people. She’s a brave little one, and we know she’ll continue to blossom with the right family. We believe Rose is best suited to a house with a garden, away from the chaos of city living. She’s a very kind little dog, so we can also imagine she could live with kids, providing they’ve been brought up to respect dogs and treat them correctly. Let’s hope her stay at the shelter isn’t a long one!

Rose’s information:

Age: 5 years old
Breed: Mixed
Sex: Female

I’m a little shy at the moment but also very sweet. With a little time to adapt I’ll make a family very happy! I’d love a home with a garden away from the city.
