Rusty and his two brothers were rescued by a woman who heard their heartbreaking cries, coming from a deep ravine. Fortunately, she managed to rescue all three from their plight and brought them to the shelter. All three have recovered from their adventure, but the shelter is no place for a little puppy to grow up in, so we hope that each will soon be able to come to his forever-home.
Rusty is about a year old and a real cutie, so it’s very easy to fall in love with him! The three brothers are playful and friendly, absolutely delightful and we’re very sure that they can be a wonderful addition to a home if only they get the chance.
As so often with our Greek dogs, we have no idea about Rusty’s background; where he comes from, how he ended up in the ravine or who his parents are. What we do know is that he is a happy, social puppy, who works very well with people, with the dogs in the shelter and even with the cats. Rusty is exactly how a puppy should be; playful, curious, mischievous and affectionate. He loves to play with his brothers and explores the shelter.
We believe that Rusty’s future family should be relatively active and like to include their dog in their activities to ensure he gets physical and mental stimulation daily.
His future family must also be prepared to continue teaching him everything about life in a home – and be ready for life with a puppy – sleepless nights, pee everywhere, maybe the occasional chewed shoe and so on. But with love, time, patience and the right training, we are absolutely sure that Blue will make a lucky family very happy.
