About Snow White

Snow White is a gorgeous little pup, that is clearly a setter type. She is one of a litter of eight adorable pups that were recently left at the shelter. We don’t know anything about the little family prior to arriving at the shelter. As they were eight puppies, we named them ‘Snow White and the seven dwarfs’. Sadly, one baby didn’t make it, and another has been adopted locally, so we have six from the family waiting to find their forever homes.

Show White is a lovely, playful little girl, with gorgeous soft fur. She enjoys tumbling with her siblings, and without doubt would love a doggy friend to play with in her future home. She is estimated to be around 3 months old now, and will probably grow to be 15-20 kilos as an adult (no guarantees of course!). She will make a wonderful addition to most families if she is trained properly and supported the way a puppy should be.

As with all puppies, Snow White’s future family needs to be ready for sleepless nights, pee and poo everywhere, scratched furniture, chewed shoes, long days of learning to be home alone and of course, training to walk on a lead. Right now, she is very well socialised with other dogs and cats, but more training will be needed to make sure she doesn’t develop bad habits, and that she continues to be a happy and social dog. Her future family also needs to commit to sterilising her as soon as she reaches sexual maturity – we tolerate zero breeding with our dogs and don’t agree with them battling with unnecessary hormones throughout their lives if not sterilised.

Show White is first available to leave the shelter for adoption at the beginning of September when she turns 16 weeks old, in accordance with EU law.
