Adorable Venice was recently left at the shelter. As usual, we’ve no idea about her background. We just know that she was straying in a village. It’s not easy being a stray during winter so a kindly animal lover brought her to the shelter.
Venice is approximately 2 years old and weighs 18 kilos. She is is a very kind soul who loves people big and small. She welcomes everyone with a wagging tail! So our sweet girl could live with a family who have children that respect animals.
Venice has a medium activity level and loves to run around and play with the shelter’s other dogs. She gets along very well with them. She likes walks and walks nicely on a leash.
When it comes to cats, Venice is insecure and would probably not hesitate to bite them if they were to scratch her. So our feelings are that she shouldn’t live with a cat. She would be best in a slightly more rural home, but she has good self-confidence, so she could probably also live in the city in a slightly quieter area.
As always, we have no idea if Venice has ever lived indoors, so her future family will need to help her understand what it’s like to live as a family dog. But with time and patience, we’re sure she’ll make a lucky family very happy.
