Sweet and steady Corinne is an easy-going recent arrival at our shelter who our vet estimates to be 6 years old. As with most of our dogs, we know nothing about her live before she arrived. What we do know is that she is a fantastic girl and we strongly suspect that she is the mother of one of our former residents (Helga, in case any of you remember her – the likeness is uncanny!) and we can’t imagine how anyone could even considering dumping this sweetheart in this way.
Corinne is a big but very manageable girl at 30 kilos. She is excellent on a lead and seems to have had an owner who worked with her at some point, as she knows basic commands and is very obedient. She loves balls and could play with them all day! She is social and outgoing with everyone – people, other dogs and even cats. We imagine she could thrive in a family with kids who have been brought up to respect animals and give them space.
Although Corinne is an adult dog, we don’t know if she’s ever lived inside a home. So her future family need to start everything as if she was a pup in terms of toilet training and other basic commands. But she’s a wonderful dog and we’re certain that her future family are super lucky!
