Three more perfect puppies were dumped at the shelter, and we’re all completely in love! We’ve no idea where they came from or why they were dumped, but they are super social and mischievous babies, that are estimated to be 3 months old. We believe they will be 10-15 kilos as adults, so small in size.
The small trio consists of two boys, Malibu and Morocco, and one little girl, Miami. Malibu is the darkest coloured pup, and Morocco and Miami are twins, with our little girl being slighter in build than her brother. The pups love everyone – kids, other dogs and also our cats.
We imagine the pups could thrive in a family with kids who have been brought up to respect animals and give them space.
Without doubt, the puppies will make fantastic family dogs if they are trained and supported the way a puppy should be. As with all puppies, their future family needs to be ready for sleepless nights, pee and poo everywhere, scratched furniture, chewed shoes, long days of learning to be home alone and of course, training to walk on a lead. Right now, they are very well socialised with other dogs and cats, but more training will be needed to make sure they don’t develop bad habits and continue to be happy and social dogs. Their future families also needs to commit to neutering them as soon as they reach sexual maturity – we tolerate zero breeding with our dogs.
