Meet Roxanne.

Age: Around 3 years old.
Profession: Making absolutely everything look easy.
Special Skills: Walking politely beside you, making friends with everyone, and reminding you that calm is a superpower. Some dogs arrive with a list of demands. Roxanne has a much shorter list. She’d like a home. That’s really it.

She’s the kind of dog who seems to have quietly mastered life already. Walk? She’s by your side. A stroll through town? Lovely. A woodland wander? Perfect. A hike in the mountains? Count her in. An evening by the sea? She’ll happily watch the waves with you. Roxanne isn’t looking for excitement. She’s looking for company.She’s wonderfully gentle with people, friendly with other dogs, respectful around cats, and walks beautifully on a lead. She’s the dog who fits into your day rather than asking you to rearrange your whole life around hers. You know those dogs that make you wonder, “How on earth is nobody taking you home?”

Two summers watching other dogs leave while she waits for someone to notice what everyone at the shelter already knows…
